CCC AND Amissa Service
* Amissa service is the most feared service in ccc by both adult and children because of the fear many shepherds have put into their members about it. Even the shepherds are scared of the service and do run away whenever they are called upon to participate or officiate.
* Amissa service is simply remembrance service. The mystery behind the Amissa service is deep and heavenly.
The service is beyond human understanding and comprehension. It is a glorious and wonderful and not a fearful one.
*According to the order of service, the materials required for the service are;
Hot pap, Bean cake prepared in abundance, Seven types of fruit, Nine candlesticks for deceased adult, incense. The candle arrangement goes as follows, 7 candlesticks on the inner altar, and 2 candlesticks lighted on the head and foot of the catapha.
*What is a Catapha?
A catapha is a wooden bench like structure that is used for the Amissa service. It is often placed in the middle of the church during the service with candles litted around it. The pathways to the church are made free. The catapha is clothed first with a black apparel laced at the edge with a white cross at the middle, and a white light apparel with a blue Cross at the middle. The catapha is placed horizontally at the middle of the church.
*The Amissa is a service of grace and mystery given to celestial church of Christ. Even the founder couldn’t comprehend it’s mystery because it was given from heaven above for the sakes of Saints. Anyone who do not believe in Amissa is unwise because it has its scriptural background
* The scriptural foundation for Amissa can be seen in Jude1:9,
Yet Michael the archangel In contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation but said “The Lord rebuke you!”.
Moses was a prophet,a leader a close friend of God. He did mighty works and an great things during his lifetime but when he died, the accuser the devil was tormenting and accusing him in that state. Angel Michael had to dispute with the devil, but could not bring an accusation with him but rebuke him in the name of Jesus which is salvation, redemption, and life.
*Same thing happened in Zechariah 3:1-5. Joshua, the high priest was a worker and servant of God. He is different from Joshua the son of Nun. When he died, the accuser came to oppose and torment him. He was clothed in filthy garment. In the spiritual realm, filthy garment signifies black apparel which is where the black apparel laced at the edge placed on the catapha came from.
*Anything in Christendom, you will never see it in black. Black has deep meaning. That’s why our Constitution in CCC forbids us from wearing black and red apparel except for professional reasons. Anyone that wears black in ccc simply wears filthiness.
*The angel that has the right to contend with the devil for the souls of the dead and Saints is Angel Michael, and he takes their soul to the abode of rest.
In Jude 1:9 and Zechariah 3,it was Michael contending, and rebuking the devil in the name of the lord JESUS CHRIST. he collected the keys from death, and passed through hell to be resurrected.
We can understand better when we read the lessons for the Amissa service which is Ecclesiastes 3:1-9, John 11:21-44, 1 Corinthians 15:30-42.
*Filthy garment – Black apparel – affliction.
*CCC is not an embodiment of filthiness that’s why we don’t wear black apparel.
*Michael is the only one that had authority over every Amissa service. Michael doesnt have the power to kill Satan, but rebuke him in the name of Jesus which is Resurrection, peace and salvation.
*The dead does not have power over itself anymore once dead. Moses did mighty works but the accuser never let him rest.
*When Samuel was alive, no sorcerer had power where he was. Despite how powerful Samuel was, he was still consulted and conjured at the state of death. Let’s look at 1 Samuel 28. Samuel was conjured by the spiritist, which was a forbidden thing then. But at the state of death, no matter how powerful you are in life, you are powerless at death. When Samuel was conjured, the medium knew it was Saul in disguise immediately because of the form he came. v 11-14. Samuel was now in a transformed state. Saul received instant judgement and death for consulting Samuel. Anyone who consults a deceased after Amissa has been done will see the beam of light and might receive death judgement or punishment like Saul. But at the state of death, souls of deceased can be conjured and consulted for evil purposes.
* Amissa service does not guarantee or take anyone to heaven. After death, judgement is evident and inescapable. You will be judged according to your deeds but to free the soul from the torments of Satan and his accusation of sin which might cause hindrance into the entrance to the glorious house, Amissa service is done in such.
* It is done 41 days after death. Most shepherds run away from doing Amissa but when they too are dead, no one will do it for them. You will find Amissa service scanty because of fear where there is nothing to fear. Amissa service can be attended by any one but such mustn’t be asleep during the service.
*The fruits used for the service can be eaten and taken home likewise the pap and the beans cake. We have put unchristian belief into it that’s why we fear.
The fruit brought for the Amissa signifies fruitfulness. We bring fruit in CCC during naming ceremony, seekers service and Amissa service. It’s for fruitfulness in our lives, so that our lives would be fruitful. It is brought to the Amissa service so that the works of the deceased will be fruitful. There should be no fear in eating the pap and akara.
*Baba Bada, pastor and supreme evangelist w/w stated it’s not mandatory to kill ram, during Amissa. It’s the service that is important and paramount. We should stop running away from Amissa service, there is nothing to fear in it. It is a very important service for every CCC member.
*During the service, prayer for the deceased, the family of the deceased and the church is rendered. Prayer for mercy, no reoccurence of death or such, blessings and peace, restoration. Prayer that the garment of affliction is taken away from the church and it’s members. There is reward for an Amissa service.
