*Welfarism in CCC:*
Welfarism entails aids provided to those in need of it (social security, income support). Welfarism in CCC is at a decline level whereby Levites, widows/widowers, orphans, jobless graduates are left to find means of survival at all cost either in a easy way or hard way.
The church authority comprising of The central/province/circuit/district heads should liase together for the for alleviating the economy distress of members. Most shepherd are also less concern about the economic advancement of members, instead they milk rich members dry and turn them to poor members, and when they can’t function again as patrons/matrons due to financial distress, they quit the parish/church to avert show of shame because they have fallen from grace to grass.
Most deceased shepherd’s families complain is that authorities fail to foot bills of sick clergymen/dead clergymen funeral, all they do is to instruct parishes under their local jurisdiction to contribute funds amidst themselves to provide coffin to bury late shepherds, after the burial, the families are neglected to the pity or sorry fate that has befall them.
Parochial committees should constitute welfare committee which will operate under them without favoritism/selection. The welfare committee should see to welfare of church workers, widows/widowers, orphans, unemployed graduates, less privileged members. Galatians 6:10, Proverbs 3:27, Ephesians 2: 19 hammers on providing/helping those that are not privileged.
*Caucus of Social Class:*
This is rampant among parishes where the rich identify with only the rich, the poor ones look at them from afar, those summon courage to approach them get molested or wait for a long time before getting favors from them.
Proverbs 3:27, Deuteronomy 16:17, Proverbs 11: 24-25, Proverbs 21:26, Proverbs 28:27, Matthews 6: 3-4 emphasizes on giving. Jesus Christ lived his life on earth, healing the sick, feeding the hungry and nourishing the spirits of believers.
Spraying of currencies during harvest/display of foreign delicacies shouldn’t be our priority but touching/affecting lives positively. When you raise people when you are up, they won’t allow you to fall down on your way down, instead they will reciprocate how you raised them and changed their story from NOBODY to SOMEBODY. The rich should help in welfarism so that they won’t get absorbed by other denomination as a result of neglect from the parishes they worship.
