Note Regards Wearing Regalia For Children in Juvenile Harvest

Celestial Church of Christ has her rules, tenets, doctrines, laws, ordinances and practices. All these are as divinely given, directed and instructed.

Juvenile harvest is a key component of our tenets, hence their are specific directives on how it must be done.

It is not doctrinal for any juvenile to appear or be robed in any rank he/she has not been anointed for in the Celestial Church of Christ.

When clergies/elders in a parish make them do this, they are only subjecting such juveniles to heavy burdens and loads beyond the capacity of what their spiritual strength could carry.

At the point David was divinely commissioned for such a spiritual assignment, Saul, who could not see beyond his nose spiritually employed the same strategy some clergies/elders are doing today, but David declined as he knew the implications and consequences.

“And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.”
1 Samuel 17:38‭-‬39 KJV

When we put regalia of any rank on our juveniles during the juvenile harvest, we are only getting them armed with the “armour of Saul”. Remember the same Saul had been at the battle front for over 40days,yet he was always running away from the uncircumcised Philistines, despite his full armour. When we give “armour” to our juveniles on the juvenile harvest day, it is truly a cardinal pointer that many garments in our age are spiritually powerless. No child would put on the regalia of Papa S.B.J. Oshoffa. It carries light, life, honour and dignity beyond what that child could carry. Till date, some of his clothes are still glistering at Imeko,35 years after. Out of the spirit in him are the anointees to receive their own.

“And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.” Numbers 11:17

Note that Saul’s armour included:
-helmet of brass upon his head
-a coat of mail.

Above is actually typical of what is being done in our age today. Cladding them with “coats of mail” and “helmet of brass”.

One notable thing to note is that after the full dressing, David looked fit physically in Saul’s eyes and in the sights of other members of the armies on the field. Unfortunately, Bible emphasized that as he attempted to walk, he couldn’t because he wasn’t used to wearing them. He said to Saul, “I can’t fight with all this. I’m not used to it. So he took it all off.” 1 Samuel 17:39 GNB

Spiritually, David realized he couldn’t take any significant step unless he remove human decoration and become ordinary as he used to be. He wouldn’t record any spiritual victory unless he would add nothing to beautify, decorate and magnify himself.

Many atimes, God’s victory and glory would not manifest when we try to repackage, redesign, reorder, beautify, decorate, magnify and adore ourselves with undue robes, appellations and pseudo-names.
When we put unsanctified regalia on the children for juvenile harvest thanksgiving worship, we are only reducing the potency of what the power of God could have done that special day. When we are given to this false approach, we strangulate abundance of testimonies that would be available in the new year.

“Jesus said, “Let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 GNB

Do not stop them no matter how they are. Allow them to freely flow on that thanksgiving day in the grace, joy, happiness, blessings and fulfillment in their hearts.

Let them come to the Lord only with their natural naive selves, just as they are. No more;no less.
