I used to see anointment as a very fundamental and holy sacrament of celestial church as this was how it is during the days of SBJ Oshoffa and Reverend Bada until it became bastardized and monetized today.

You could get anointed without been laid hand on or even seeing the pastor, your money will speak for you like they say

This happened in my church someday when we wanted to go for anointment, I paid the fees that were due, and we were making preparations to go to Imeko that the pastor may place hands on us.

We were quite much in number and most of us were the working class, on the assigned date that we ought to move to imeko, a large number of us couldn’t make it including me.

Our shepherd told us that another appointment would be scheduled when pastor comes to Lagos…we waited quite for months, until we were called that our certificates were ready.
I was in shock,but we weren’t anointed.

Sooner our shepherd announced that we should go and prepare for investiture(Iwuye) including those who didnt go for the anointment that it no longer matters we didnt get the oil on our head

Many ignorantly prepared the robes for the investiture as they were curious to wear them and wore them without been anointed
They were anointed on paper but not laid hands on by the pastor…

Haba ! My conscience couldn’t allow me join them…I left the rank and everything with them because I felt I wasnt anointed and this isnt the first I was doing, all the anointments I had gone for I was laid hands on.

In my heart, this people were toying with the power of celestial.

Few months later, I started hearing news that some of them began having problems…
