Baba Wole Adetiran’s Message To The Church From His Sickbed •
It is no longer news that DG Central Choir, under the aegis of Celestial Church of Christ Music Department, Prof. Oluwole Adetiran, is ill and is said to be bedridden for chronic prostrate cancer
Baba, who was said to have seriously frowned at anyone showing any form of empathy that will warrant people, on the ground of soliciting money for his ailment, now seize the oppotunity to dupe innocent members of the church, has sent a message from his sickbed to the church.
“I am again saying through this medium, what I have said repeatedly said in the past, that people should not make business with my ailment. I have not sent anybody to go on platforms to ask for money from anybody on my behalf; I may be a little unwell, but I don’t have any cause at all to start asking people for money because, I am being taken care of, very well by GOD, through the authority of the Church, the reputable individuals, great friends, my former students, even from outside the Church; this does not exclude the Department of Music Technology, The Polytechnic Ibadan which I headed successfully for almost 10 years and The Faculty of Business and Communication Studies, Poly, Ibadan that I also headed as the Dean of that Faculty for two terms of my four years successfully through HIS might. And sometimes, will it not be ridiculous that the Founding Rector Of CCC Academy of Music And Music Technology KM 53, Lagos/Ibadan Express way and The Director Of Music CCC World-wide suddenly becomes a stylistic beggar?
If anybody, group, people or a conglomerate feels so kind enough to think of raising funds for me, it should be properly discussed with me and I would have said no, I don’t like that kind of arrangement. leave me with God who has been taken care of me through my people (The Great Celestians). As such, please stop this kind of arrangement. I am proud of Great and reliable Celestians and I so much detest fraud.
God Bless You in Jesus Name. WoleAdetiran.”
You have heard it all, the church and the members should do the right thing at the right time.
