“Understanding What Praise is”

Praise simply means “glory to God in the highest”
Anything outside of this is not praise because God will never share his glory with anything

Only the angels know what true praise is because they are before God, witnesses of his glory and give him all the glory.

Praise can only come from a heart that knows what it means to glorify God above anything else.

Praise lifts God higher above anything : praise glorifies, magnifies and amplifies God.

The first enemy of praise is pride…
Pride enthrones another thing in the place of God, competes for God’s glory, rivals God for glory and wants to be in God’s stead.

This was what Satan did….he sang God’s praises but at a time he wanted it and lost his place in heaven

Glorifying men, singing praises of men, calling names of rich men and women who spend money on forehead is not what is called praise and they can never be praise.
They are glory of self and carnality which can never produce a divine effect.
It releases carnal spirits into operation.

You will wonder why we say we praise and yet nothing happens…..we do 21 days praise program, we do concert and incerts yet even a glimpse of the praise effect in heaven is not seen.

Such praise put the glory of God in struggle or aside.
Heaven cannot open in such situations.

This praise can never produce miracles or heavenly effect

They can generate spraying of money and other worldliness but never miracles.

Praise produces an effect that shakes heaven, quakes earth, swings angel into action, and delights God or swells his head making the miraculous happen.

Praise as a result of flesh (intoxication,drug, highness) is not praise.
This is just mere singing

True praise is heavenly and very spiritual

For the spirit of praise glorifies God always.
There is a spirit of praise
It takes a heart that has seen God’s glory to sing praise.

Only those who truly praise God experience miracles that Jehoshaphat experienced.
