Celestial Choristers : Singing Without Harmony(HYMN 352)

The Celestial Choristers are a blessed set of people, dearly beloved by God.
God called them beloved ones

They are the singing evangelists of the church, the co-singers with the angels in praises of God .

But what has happened to them according to CCC HYMN 352

“Oh ye choristers of celestial
Sing aloud the songs of the lord”

A. THE SONGS OF THE LORD

The songs of the lord are the song of praises, songs of glory, songs of joy that glorify God in the highest.
This are the heavenly originated songs sang in the choir of heaven, before the throne of God.

But today they sing SONGS OF THE WORLD THAT OFFER NO REWARD TO THE SOUL

SONGS OF CARNAL CHORDS THAT STRIKE THE SOUL WITH SINFUL CORDS

B. SINGING IN HARMONY

“With the host of angels in heaven above
Sing ye sweet songs in harmony”

Harmony simply means “in agreement, in unison and in accord”

Harmony is a musical term but we refer to the heavenly harmony

The choristers sing with the host of angels to glorify God in unison.

Today, the harmony is gone, the sweet songs are lost, and the angels are lost, and the choristers singing with lust

Sweet songs are replaced with street songs.
There cannot be fusion between the angels and the choristers because there is pollution and violation which lead to confusion.

While the choir sings odd songs that the angels don’t know about, they just watch for they do not join in such

Any choir that has no fusion with the angels will produce chaos and confusion.

MAGNIFY GOD

Anything that exalts man or self can never magnify God.
Many sing to magnify men or themselves : this is the style of the world.
The angels magnify only ‘God’
Praising anything apart from God is sinful in nature.
