Did you know that Pastor Kumuyi was a Celestial member before he broke out from Celestial Church, to become a Deeper Life Bible Church?

Papa SBJ Oshoffa, Baba Bada, Baba Ajanlekoko, Baba Abiasi, John BADA and other entourage came as a witness at Kumuyi’s programme all the way from CCC Kétu International Headquarters.

Pastor Kumuyi created a new ministry called Deeper Life Bible Ministry then, to cause revival which was marked each day for each major churches in Nigeria, one after the other.

He invited them to his Headquarters site in Gbagada, Lagos. So when it was the turn of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, he called it Celestial Day just like he did for other denominations like Baptist Day, Methodist Day, Anglican Day and so on. They were to come with their Overseers.

So when it was the turn of Celestial Church of Christ, Papa SBJ Oshoffa led the church there. In fact that day was a Friday and Papa instructed all members of the Celestial Church in Lagos not to hold the usual Friday evening service, but that they
all should assemble at the programme with him.

The crowd turnout was great and massive in white sutana. The place was filled up with Celestials, compared to the Deeper Life members who were very few in number. So the program started and it was led by Papa SBJ Oshoffa who preached the sermon in Yoruba and it was translated in English.

Nobody stopped him from preaching.
The power of God was felt in the whole arena and when he finished, he prayed.
Pastor Kumuyi took the microphone and told the whole congregation, that he wanted an important favour from Papa Oshoffa.
Everyone was standing and Papa SBJ Oshoffa said he should go ahead, if only it’s something he can give him right then, he will give him.

So pastor Kumuyi took the microphone and said he wanted Papa to instruct Celestials present at the program to come always for Bible teaching that this place is not a church, but where the Bible is being taught.

Then Papa SBJ Oshoffa said “is that all?”
He answered “yes!”

Then Papa took the microphone from him and said in Yoruba:
” Halleluyah Se e gbo ohun ti arakunrin wa so?” (Hallelujah hope you heard what the gentleman said?)
Then everyone chorused “Beni sir!” (Yes Sir)
Then Papa continued saying “Oni kin pase fun awon omo Celestial Church of Christ ki won ma wa si ibiyi lati wa ma ko bibeli wipe ibi yi kon se church, sugbon ko ri be nitori ibi ti awa yi church ni. Kosi lara oruko won loni, sugbon to ba di ola tonbo church awa lara oruko won. E lo ko si le.”

(Papa SBJ Oshoffa was saying “You said I should instruct all members of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide to be coming here for Bible Study, because this arena isn’t a church but a Ministry, but that is not so because where we are right now is a Church not a Ministry. It may not be called a church today, but by tomorrow it shall be called a Church. Write it down.”)

That means there is a difference between Church and Ministry.

Then it was Deeper life Bible Ministry, but today it’s Deeper life Bible Church.

Papa continued saying “mi o ni pase fun won lati ma wa sibi lati ko eko bibeli, nitori ni ibi ton wa lohun ki se pe won ko eko bibeli nikan sugbon anfi agbara ebun emi mimo tunmo fun won”
and everyone clapped.

(I will not instruct them to come for Bible Study, because where they are: they don’t only conduct Bible Study alone but they are also using the power and gift of the HOLY Spirit to know and understand the scriptures alongside with the word of God.) And everyone clapped.

So that was what happened that night at Deeper Life, Gbagada, Lagos, and the program was over.

Unfortunately for other churches that were also invited like Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, they fell for the bait and their members couldn’t go back to their respective churches again.
God intervened in the case of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, using Papa SBJ Oshoffa under the influence of the HOLY Spirit.

God of SBJ Oshoffa rescued Celestial members.

May God of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide continue to bless us all
