8 Dangerous effects of committing Abortion

SIDE EFFECTS OF COMMITTING ABORTION!

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you felt like carrying out an abortion? Or are you considering carrying out an abortion anytime soon due to one reason or the other? You may need to reconsider or have a rethink about it.

An abortion is the expulsion from the womb of a foetus or embryo before it is fully developed, with loss of the foetus; either naturally as a spontaneous abortion (usually called a miscarriage), or deliberately as an induced abortion

There are after-effects of abortion. These effects may be delayed: which is not immediately manifested.

These are the after-effects of abortion,

1. Massive Bleeding: After an abortion, a woman can experience light to heavy bleeding, brownish discharge and blood clots. Some may suffer heavy bleeding which may linger for about 3 to 4 weeks. If your bleeding is making you change your sanitary pad every 2 or 3 hours and you feel dizzy, light-headed and are passing large clots, then it is definitely not normal. You should immediately talk with your doctor as it can be a likelihood that your uterus may have gotten wounded during the process.

2. Infections: After an abortion, a woman can get infected. This is because after the abortion, your cervix may stay open for several days which makes it easy to contract urinary tract infection. The infection can emerge in terms of strong-smelling vaginal discharge, fever and pelvic pain. Untreated infections can also lead to pelvic inflammatory disease.

3. Depression and anxiety: After the traumatic ordeal of an abortion, a woman may suffer from what is known as post-abortion syndrome. The post-abortion syndrome can result in increased levels of anxiety and depression. To cope with the situation, it is advised to take enough rest. However If the feelings of depression refused to go away after a while, seek help from a counselor you trust.

4. Continual pregnancy symptoms: After the traumatic experience of abortion, Several women still tend to encounter some pregnancy symptoms such as fever, nausea, cramps, and bloating, They may even suffer from persistent tiredness and fatigue. Also, if after an abortion you start experiencing fever and high temperature, then it is a way of your body telling you that you have contracted an infection.

5.Guilty conscience and sense of sin.
After committing abortion, your conscience feels guilty except for a life already hardened by Satan and you begin to have a sense of sin, the shedding of blood, the killing of an innocent soul and a suicide trial on your life.
Abortion is a cousin of murder and a sibling of suicide .

6. Abandonment
Those who advised, helped and encourage you to do abortion will abandon you and leave you alone to face the consequences of whatever that happens after abortion.
You alone will carry the cross and face the pain.
They will tell you pregnancy is a shame and disgrace but they won’t tell you abortion is even worse.
They are only concerned of their selfish interest and image, and not your own.
You will soon discover after the abortion

7. Loss of life and glory
Many have lost their lives to abortion and even their glory.
Millions of great men that ought to be a blessing to the world are terminated by abortion.
Many have lost their only child fated to them by abortion and have remained barren.
Abortion is not only a removal of foetus but a removal of life and glory

8.Barrenness
Abortion has lead many to barrenness and even weakened the womb of many women.
Abortion can destroy the womb and fertility of a woman.
