DON’T PANIC

When you hear that you will work for God, don’t panic or rush any decision, take a deep breath and relax.

DONT RUSH DECISION

Dont make any hasty decision. You will need to think about it carefully, and plan towards it

DONT LEAVE YOUR JOB, SCHOOL OR BUSINESS

Dont leave what you are doing and jump into the pool of ministry.
Many made this mistake and regret it today

Doing the work of God doesn’t say you should not be educated, have a means of income or run a business.
All the disciples had what they were doing before they were called and they still did it.

VERIFY AND CONFIRM
Confirm and verify from the caller(God Almighty) if truly he has said you will work for him.
Many made costly mistake by not verifying from God, and receiving confirmation of the call to God’s work
Let God confirm your calling to all people that you are a called and anointed one to the ministry

PERSONAL REVELATION AND CONVICTION

Ensure you have a direct and personal revelation and conviction about your calling.
Dont rely on what the prophet says as true, and affirmative. Be 100% sure you are called to the work of God

DISCOVER INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CALLING

Discover and be well informed about your calling, where you are called, why you are called, whom you are sent, your ministry office and gifts, the will and purpose of God for your calling, the timing of your calling, the boundaries and width of your calling

ACQUIRE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Go to school, study, acquire certificate, be proficient, learn skills and vocations, read books and expand your knowledge, do online courses and diplomas, go to theology school or expand your scope of knowledge.

PREPARE AND PLAN
Start preparing and planning about it on a long term basis, for the full time and part shift into ministry.

PRACTICE AND START

Start from somewhere. Start from media, the sunday school, the choir.
Whatever you learn from there will be useful for your calling and ministry
Its not compulsory you join the church workers and shepherds immediately.

STUDY THE WORD
Increase your study and reading of the bible, read it diligently and devote your time.
Give time to praying and even fasting

SEEK DIVINE DIRECTION AND GUIDE
Always seek God to guide and lead you in the activation and actualization of your calling.
Let God be the first speaker not man…
Dont let any man push you to do what God has not ask you to do.
Let God lead you so that you would be able to say boldly to God, that he told you to do it and you obeyed him.

BE FULL OF SPIRIT
increase in the holy spirit and let the grace of God abide in you, so that his spirit can rest upon you, his anointing can flow in you and people would see the glory of God in you
