Factors that caused drawback to the development of celestial till present

Division and factions

Divisions and factions are a major cause to the present predicament of celestial church.
We have spent and wasted resources, energy and time on been divided into factions and it has yielded nothing for us.

Selfish interests

Only few people have interest of the church in mind.
there are many who have personal agendas, and ambitions,
some are interested in milking the church away of its resources
Some see the church as a ground to feed themselves and their family
While some are happy the way the church is underdeveloped and would do anything to ensure it remains the way it is

No place for the word of God.

Wherever the word of God is choked, there would be darkness and ignorance flourishing.

No place for education and change

The lack of education, exposure and experience has been a leading factor to what the church is today.
We do not allow the use of education and educated minds to improve things preferring to leave things the way they are till Jesus come.
We don’t like change or ideas that can be beneficial to the church

Money is more respected than ideas. Someone said if you have ideas and no money in Celestial, your ideas will die and nobody will even see you as human being talking

The Holy Spirit is choked

We have so choked up the holy spirit and allowed our carnal and worldly tenacity to flourish, we do not want to be led by the spirit anymore, or listen to the dictation of the spirit.
The voice and choice of the holy spirit has been a factor that has been neglected in the pastoral and leadership chaos we are having over the years.

The Truth is hated

Anywhere the truth is hated, blindness and darkness will flourish, there cannot be improvement and development for only the truth can set us free
Just like the saying of the pastor founder, if lies reign for a thousand years, within a second, the truth will overcome it.

The lack of innovative leadership

Until we have what I call innovative leadership, we will keep remaining in the dungeon of underdevelopment.
A leadership that is spiritually adequate and wisdom equipped, exposed and experienced to bring development and progress to the church

Sentiments

Sentiments are drawbacks to development.
Sentiments such as because papa did it this way it must remain like that.
We forget that papa loved change, accepted development that are spirited and progressive.

Implementation and accountability

Despite the leadership crisis, we generate funds and proceeds but they are not properly utilized and accounted for.
Some are spent, embezzled and carried off for personal gains than development of the church

Implementation of projects is a very hard thing for us. The basilica project took the grace of God and determination to come to reality after many years of failed projects upon failed projects.

Empowerment

There is no empowerment and funding at all levels for the laity and clergies, and for all department
Welfarism is bad across all levels especially the clergy.
Many department are underdeveloped and lagging because of no provisions and fundings for them.
