A LETTER TO CCC Elders and Pastors : How the Choir can contribute massively to the church and the gospel

Alleluia Everyone.

Please permit me to share a wholly different angle to the yearning of the youths and progressives in the CCC.

While we still believe that Leadership and System re-structuring is the way forward for this great church, it is imperative that we identify and suggest ‘practical valuable stances’ devoid of the unpleasant mood of the present rot in the church.

Let’s look at what Christ Embassy has done with LoveWorldMusicMinistry and how much it is contributing to the church. I believe the leadership of the church recognized that Rev. Chris, Rhapsody of Realities and the well established digital media are not enough for the brand.

They looked within and noticed an emerging trend – a new collective of talented music. The leadership swung into action and created to groom, launch and promote them. That singular vision produced Eben, Sinach, Frank Edward, Samsong, Buchi – some of the finest and most recognisable gospel artistses of our time from Africa.

They are more popular and successful than ANY artistes from CCC including Mega 99 and the late Baba Ara.

The LWMM platform MAY have signed them to earn ROI through record sales, digital streaming and downloads, appearance fees and other revenue generation modules.

They are not only generating revenue, they are also contributing to the gospel work of the church and overall brand image.

Imagine what the global record sales are for Sinach? That easily trumps ALL of Mega99’s album same till date, talkless of Seyi Solagbade.

For the case of the CCC, let’s look at the CCC Central Choir. How has the church, iys leadership and member helped this church arm? Where is their recording studio? Where is the plan to harness music talents from within the fold? Where is the plan to help digitize their content? How can we promote the central choir to become gospel resource that transcends the four corners of the CCC?

I think the only recognisable talent product of the Central Choir ‘flying the flag’ is Sola Allyson. Regardless, she isnt a successful selling artist, yet.

What would a recording studio/ rehearsal room cost? What would a new digital album cost? Can any of their projects be promoted powerfully within the church? Can we help them foster collaborations?

Case scenario – Annointment 2023 : Ask annointees to present past certificates, receipt of payment and a copy of the CCC Central Choir album project to validate your request for annointment.

Expend $25,000 on recording the album and push abt 50,000 hardcopy and digital copies at N1000 per copy across Nigeria, The UK, USA etc. That’s an investment of about N10,000,000 yeilding N50,000,000.

You can easily commit N20,000,000 back into the dynamics of that church arm – the choir, the CCC music academy and other areas deficient.

You have N20,000,000 revenue left for the church. It can be committed to completing the abandoned CCC International Conference Center.

We will keep discovering talents as music is one of the ministries given to Papa but what is our leadership thinking about this established trend? We have seen talents rise and die in the CCC with all the hardwork committed to their craft.

The youths are not ANTI-ILANA. We are ANTI-FAILURE and we want a rejuvenated CCC that will go global, be forward thinking and fulfill Christ’s mandate of Salvation as handed over to Papa.

This is music. There is manufacturing, printing, digital media, film, education and other areas, other churches have embraced to progress.
