I ENTERED THE CHURCH ON HARVEST DAY WITH MY PERIOD

I was a chorister, and my menses fell on the week of the harvest, I happen to be a leading vocalist that would be very essential for the day.

No one knew that I was on my period and I didn’t want to miss any of the harvest excitement.
Hence I decided on the harvest day, I wore my sutana like that and sang without anyone knowing but not without its consequences.

My menses continued to flow for another 3 months. I was so afraid and scared to tell anyone what was happening to me.
Until I made up my mind and told my shepherd who rebuked me and told me what I did was sacrilegious.

I prayed for forgiveness, and repented of my wrongdoings in disobeying the Lord’s injunction and did some prayers then the flow return backed to normal

Since then I have learnt my lessons and never would I entered the church with my period.
